Students build robotic projects and participate in competitions. The Savage Soccer VEX robotics competition at WPI takes place in late fall.  The US FIRST regional robotics competition occurs in March and April in various NE venues, with qualifying teams moving on to US FIRST nationals in St. Louis, MO.  Robotics offers multiple college scholarship opportunities.

Eligibility: All high school students

Fee: From $75-125, which includes hotel and food for a three-day competition at a host city.

Meetings: At the off-campus robotics lab in Whitinsville, one evening a week.  Additional meetings as required when competitions are imminent.
