Why WCS Select?
You are your child’s primary educator, and we honor the thoughtful choice you’ve made to homeschool. Our classes are designed to come alongside you, supporting and enriching the work you’re already doing.
WCS Select provides options to expand academic opportunities, and be part of a larger community.
Intentional Access
Students enroll in carefully selected courses that complement their homeschool education.
Academic Excellence
Classes are taught by experienced faculty in a structured, engaging environment. A transcript will be issued indicating classes completed.
Community Connection
Each WCS Select student is paired with a peer and a supportive adult advisor to help them feel connected. High school students may enjoy staying on campus between classes, with access to comfortable study areas.
Elementary Courses Offered
Elementary Music Grades K-5 (Thursday/Friday)
In Elementary Music, students discover the joy of making and experiencing music together. Through singing, movement, instruments, and listening activities, students build foundational skills in rhythm, melody, and expression. They are introduced to a variety of musical styles and cultures while developing confidence and creativity. Music class also provides opportunities to work collaboratively, practice performance skills, and use their gifts to bring joy to others.
Elementary Art Grades K-5 (Monday-Wednesday)
Elementary Art encourages students to explore their creativity and see the world with curiosity and imagination. Students experiment with a variety of materials and techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Along the way, they learn about elements of art and design, as well as artists from different cultures and time periods. Art class provides a space for self-expression, thoughtful reflection, and developing confidence in one's unique creative voice.
Outdoor Education (Outdoor Ed) Grades Pre K-4th grade
Outdoor Education provides students with hands-on learning experiences in God’s creation. Through exploration, observation, and active play, students develop an appreciation for the natural world while building skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. Lessons may include nature studies, environmental awareness, and cooperative challenges. Outdoor Ed encourages students to be curious, adventurous learners who grow in confidence and stewardship of the world around them.
Elementary Physical Education (PE) Grades K-5
Elementary Physical Education promotes healthy habits, teamwork, and a love of movement. Students participate in a variety of activities that build strength, coordination, and sportsmanship, including games, skill development, and cooperative challenges. PE emphasizes effort, perseverance, and respect for others while helping students understand the importance of staying active and caring for their bodies.
Middle School Courses Offered
Outdoor Education
Through hands-on exploration, students engage in activities that build confidence, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.
6th Grade Art
This 6th grade art curriculum introduces students to foundational artistic skills and creative expression through a wide variety of hands-on projects and mediums.
7th Grade Art
This 7th grade art curriculum builds on foundational skills by exploring art through historical and cultural lenses while continuing to develop creativity and technique.
8th Grade Art
This 8th grade art curriculum focuses on refining technical skills while encouraging deeper creative expression and personal voice.
MS Spanish
The Spanish program focuses on building foundational language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening through a structured and interactive approach.
MS Orchestra (7/8)
The Middle School Orchestra program develops students’ abilities to read, understand, and perform the language of music while growing in confidence and collaboration.
Beginner Band (anyone new to an instrument)
We work in small groups to provide individualized instruction, ideally alongside your own private lessons.
Middle School Band
This is a course for students who have at least one year of school band experience on a wind or percussion instrument.
Middle School Choir
This course is the perfect place for anyone interested in singing - no experience required, but any singing experience is a plus!
Middle School Chapel Band
This course is a place where we focus on being part of a musical worship leading experience.
MS PE (6-8)
This physical education curriculum focuses on building students’ physical skills, teamwork, and overall fitness through a wide variety of activities throughout the year.
6th Grade Math
This middle school math curriculum is designed to build strong foundational skills while helping students see the real-life purpose of mathematics.
7th Grade Math
This math curriculum outlines a full-year progression that builds students’ understanding from rational numbers and integer operations into algebra, proportions, percent applications, probability, and geometry.
8th Grade Math
This math curriculum provides a comprehensive year-long progression that begins with solving equations and working with integers, then moves into transformations, geometry, and linear relationships, before advancing to systems of equations, functions, and data analysis.
MS Algebra 1
The Algebra 1 class builds strong problem-solving skills and conceptual understanding through real-world applications and a structured progression of topics.
High School Courses Offered
Electives, College-Prep Core Courses, and AP Courses (as space allows) are all offered through WCS Select.

Enrollment Fee: $100 (per family)
Elementary/Middle School Elective: (1 day) $1,050 (per course)

PreK Outdoor Ed: $3,000
AP Course Fee: $500 (additional, per AP course)
