USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not collect any personal information unless you voluntarily provide it by sending us e-mail, participating in a survey, completing an on-line form, or enrolling your child at Whitinsville Christian. Personal information submitted will not be transferred to any non-affiliated third parties unless otherwise stated at the time of collection. When a user submits personally identifiable information it is used only for the purpose stated at the time of collection.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. Remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

PAYPAL

Orders submitted on our website are directed to PayPal for processing. We have no access to your credit card data. According to PayPal’s Privacy Policy at the time of posting this page, when you visit the PayPal website or use PayPal Services, PayPal may collect data on the pages you access, your computer IP address, device identifiers, the type of operating system you’re using, your location, mobile network information, standard web log data and other information. It may also collect information about your transactions and your activities, including contact, financial and personal information. PayPal does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. FACTS

We use FACTS school management system for many management functions including application, enrollment, tuition payment and lunch account deposit. Any link on the whitinsvillechristian.org website to the FACTS portal will direct the user away from the whitinsvillechristian.org website to the FACTS website. FACTS hosts any personal and payment data on their servers and users should read the FACTS Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for a complete understanding of what data are saved and how that data is stored and utilized.

FAMILYID

We use the FamilyID system to manage athletics registration for the Whitinsville Christian Middle School and Whitinsville Christian High School athletic programs.  Any link on the whitinsvillechristian.org website to the FamilyID portal will direct the user away from the whitinsvillechristian.org website to the FamilyID website. FamilyID hosts any personal and payment data on their servers and users should read the Family ID Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for a complete understanding of what data are saved and how that data is stored and utilized.

CONSENT

Where consent for the use and disclosure of personal information is required, the school will seek consent from the appropriate person. In the case of a student’s personal information, the school will seek the consent from the student and/ or parent depending on the circumstances and the student’s mental ability and maturity to understand the consequences of the proposed use and disclosure.

COOKIES

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser that allows the website to “remember” your preferences (such as calendar settings and site bookmarks) on the site from visit to visit, or to maintain your “logged in” status when visiting protected areas. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. SECURITY

This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ personal information. Whenever users submit personal information (such as contact info or credit card info) via online forms, registration, or online purchase, upon submission that information is encrypted via the highest level of SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) available. Servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment. Under no circumstances are credit card numbers permanently stored on our website servers.

NON-SECURED COMMUNICATIONS

Posts to discussion forums, discussion boards, comments to blogs, and Alumni Class Notes are viewable by other users. When these areas are not in a password protected area, they may be viewable by the general public. Please be aware of this when posting personal information in these areas.
