When to Apply
If your child turns three by September 1 and is at least day-time toilet-trained, they are eligible for Whitinsville Christian Preschool. We offer programs for both three and four year olds in a variety of schedules (2 day, 3 day and 5 day). WCS encourages families to begin the application process in November but will accept applications until enrollment limits are reached.
If your child has a fall birthday and will be three by January 1 and you wish to enroll mid-year, please contact Michele Blackburn at mblackburn@whitinsvillechristian.org or 508-372-3278 to inquire about classroom availability.

Preschool Application Process
1. First, Create an Account on our FACTS admissions portal. (If you have already created an inquiry or admissions account, login here).
2. After account creation, log-in to your account and create a New Student application for your child. Should you need to logout while completing the application, your work will be saved. Please be sure to select either PK3 or PK4 under “Whitinsville Christian School PK” in the drop down menu.
3. Complete and submit your application. A $50 non-refundable application fee ($75 after March 15th) will be due at the time of submission.
4. After submission, your preschool application will be reviewed, and you will be contacted if any further information is needed.
5. You will receive an “Invitation to Enroll” email from our admissions team. Follow the instructions in the email to login to your account and submit the online enrollment packet. Completing this enrollment packet secures your child’s spot in our program. A $100 non-refundable enrollment fee is due at the time of submission.

Whitinsville Christian School encourages families to begin the application process in October, but will accept applications until enrollment limits are reached. We typically have a wait-list for kindergarten if applying at a later date.

Application Process
1. To begin the Online Application process, first Create a FACTS Account. (If you have already created an inquiry or admissions account, login here).
2. After account creation, log-in to your account and create a New Student application for your child. Should you need to logout while completing the application, your work will be saved. Please be sure to select *K as the grade level in the drop down menu.
3. Kindergarten applicants are asked to provide an email address for preschool records (if applicable) and may also submit a pastor recommendation (optional). Forms will be emailed directly to the contact listed in your application upon submission.
4. Complete and submit your application. A non-refundable application and testing fee will be due at the time of submission. Please see the below chart for our application fee structure.
Early Application: October 1 - December 31 | $100
Open Application: January 1 - May 15 | $150
Summer Application: May 16 - August 1 | $200
5. After submission, your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted only if any further information is needed. Submitting an application secures your child’s place on our kindergarten class list, pending testing and provided a waitlist has not yet begun.
6. Beginning in January, our admissions team will be in touch with all new families to schedule kindergarten testing. Testing takes about 30 minutes and is conducted by our elementary principal in a warm, fun and stress-free environment. (Please note: if your child is currently enrolled in Whitinsville Christian Preschool, testing will occur during their regular school day with no further action required on your part.)
7. Throughout January and February, testing is scheduled and completed for all applicants. All new families (including Whitinsville Christian Preschool students who do not have any older siblings already enrolled at WCS) will be contacted after the testing process is complete to schedule a Family Meeting via Zoom.
8. An admissions decision will be made after all of these steps are completed and will be sent to you by mail from the Admissions Office with information regarding next steps. Please note that some applicants may be asked to re-test at a later date before an admissions decision is made.

Applicants are asked to provide an email address for grade appropriate teacher recommendations, pre-admission school records (usually the front office or guidance office of the most recently attended school) and applicants may also submit a pastor recommendation (optional). Forms will be emailed directly to the contact listed in your application upon submission.
4. Please upload a copy of your child’s most recent report card and a copy of their IEP/504 (if applicable) into the online application.
5. Complete and submit your application. A non-refundable application and testing fee will be due at the time of submission. Please see the below chart for our application fee structure.

7. Once we have received all of the required application materials, our admissions team will be in touch to schedule a shadow day. Admissions testing will be completed at this time. High School applicants may need an additional visit to complete placement testing.
8. After the shadow day, we will schedule a Family Meeting via Zoom. This meeting typically includes parents, the enrollment director and the school principal. We do ask that students applying for high school are also present for the family meeting.
9. An admissions decision will be made after these steps are completed and will be sent to you by mail from the Admissions Office with information regarding next steps.

International Student General Admissions
All international students must follow the admissions procedures and meet the general requirements of Whitinsville Christian School. Whitinsville Christian School welcomes international students to grades 7-12 who desire to have a college-preparatory, Biblically-based education. We value the cultural diversity that international students bring to our school and encourage students to participate in a rigorous academic curriculum that teaches God’s central place in all of life.
International student applications cannot be submitted through our online application system.
