High School Faculty

We have an opening for the 2025-2026 academic year for a full-time teacher for business courses. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education and can design and teach engaging classes that foster critical thinking and creativity. The ideal candidates will be qualified to teach upper level and AP courses.

High School Guidance Counselor

Our Guidance Team has an opening for a full-time High School Guidance Counselor. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: reviewing and maintaining student schedules, developing and implementing the Guidance Advising Program, working with students throughout the college search process, managing all WCS and local scholarships, managing the administration of College Board exams, and serving as the VHS Coordinator. The ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree in school counseling and have previous experience as a high school guidance counselor. This position is full-time, with reduced hours in the summer.

Business Manager

WCS has an immediate opening for a full-time Business Manager to develop, maintain, and monitor the ongoing business practices and processes of the School, as well as review, reconcile, and present the financial results to the Finance Board. This position is primarily in-person with the potential for some hybrid hours. Qualified candidates will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting and/or finance. The ideal candidate will have non-profit experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle competing priorities, with a dedication to accuracy and quality. Strong written and oral communication skills are also important as the Business Manager will be responsible for presenting financial results to key stakeholders.

Director of Development

As a member of the Advancement Team, the Director of Development creates and implements strategies to increase consistent donor recruitment and engagement. This part-time position will oversee fundraising strategies, events, and reporting. Qualified candidates will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and have at least one year of fundraising experience.

Director of Operations

We have an immediate opening for a part-time Director of Operations. The Director of Operations oversees the overall scheduling of the school’s facilities and communicates all relevant information to affected personnel. The Director also maintains all records relating to building contracts, services, vehicles, and equipment.

Preschool Teacher

We have an opening for the upcoming school year for a part-time preschool teacher. Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Preschool Classroom Aide

We have three openings for part-time classroom aides in our preschool. Schedules will include Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or Tuesday and Thursday. Previous work with preschool aged children is preferred.

Cello Instructor

We have an immediate opening in our Strings program for a part-time cello instructor to join our vibrant Suzuki community teaching students ages PreK-grade 12. The ideal candidate will teach weekly private lessons after school hours, including a Thursday afternoon group class, and prepare students for yearly recitals, seasonal concerts, and other community performances. Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Education or Music Performance, have a minimum of 3 years professional teaching experience, have Suzuki training registered thought at least book 2 with intention to go further, and have performance credits that demonstrate professional-level performing competence
