On April 16, the Captain Job Knapp Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented their 2026 Good Citizens Awards & Scholarships. This award is given by the chapter to honor four area high school seniors selected by their teachers who demonstrated good citizenship qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities.
This year’s recipients are Caitlin Kelly, Blackstone Valley Technical High School, Mia Darling, Douglas High School, Lorelai Drapeau, Northbridge High School, and Madison Amati, Whitinsville Christian High School.
Each of these four outstanding young citizens received a DAR Good Citizens pin, a certificate, and a scholarship funded through a generous donation from Unibank and the chapter. The DAR Captain Job Knapp Chapter would like to publicly thank Unibank who has been a community supporter of this scholarship for many years.
