“DECA ICDC was an incredible opportunity for our students to compete among some of the best young business leaders in the world,” said Eliot Deters, Whitinsville Christian School faculty member and DECA Advisor. “The level of competition was intense, and it was inspiring to see our students step onto such a big stage and represent our school so well.”
For students, the conference offered not only competition but also unforgettable experiences and personal growth. “I made countless memories that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life,” said Madison Amati, WCS Chapter President. “There were so many amazing moments that I truly can’t pick a favorite. To any student considering DECA, I would absolutely encourage you to join. It changed my life, and it can change yours too.”
This year’s #DECAICDC welcomed more than 26,000 members, advisors, and business professionals, making it the largest conference in DECA history. In addition to career-focused competitions, students participated in leadership academies, networking events, and professional development opportunities with more than 85 internationally recognized businesses.
Throughout the school year, more than 250,000 of DECA’s 315,000 student members participate in competitive events at the local and regional levels. These competitions simulate real-world business scenarios and allow students to apply academic knowledge while developing critical leadership and career skills. The top state and provincial competitors advance to the international level, where they showcase their talents on one of DECA’s biggest stages.
