Arts & Enrichment Programs

WCS is offering a number of arts and educational opportunities this summer.

Summer Theatre I
Finding Nemo – Kids

July 15 – 19

Ages: Ages 7-15

Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Price: $425 per student

Where: WCS Nehemiah Center

What: WCS has partnered again this summer with Skyrise Theater to offer this one week theater camp, where students will learn a full-length musical of “Finding Nemo- Kids” ending with a final performance at 1:00pm on Friday with set, costumes, props, lights, mics, and sound.  A pre-recorded audition is required to participate.  Roles will be assigned on first day of camp.

Summer Theatre II
Shrek The Musical, JR

August 12-16

Ages: Ages 10-17

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Price: $525 per student

Where: WCS Nehemiah Center

Beginner Strings Workshop

July 29 – August 2

Ages: Grades K-5 & parents

Time: 4:00-5:00 PM

Price: $80 per student

Who: Mrs. Tammy Kaye, WCS Strings Coordinator

Where: Strings house

What: This is the perfect opportunity for families that are interested in the Strings program, and learn more about the Suzuki program at WCS, before committing to the program in the fall.   No instrument needed.

STEM Enrichment I

July 29 – August 2

Ages: Entering Grades 6-8

Time: 9:00AM – 1:30 PM

Price: $400

Who: Heather Holgate

Where: WCS

What: The WCS Summer STEM Enrichment program was created by the Stanford University Youcubed team and is designed to inspire all levels of learners with open, creative, and growth mindset activities. Students will engage in tasks in new and exciting ways. Students will explore and use algebra, geometry, patterns & sequences, probability, number sense & theory as they persevere collaboratively to problem-solve.

  • Tuition includes materials, supplies, and healthy snacks
  • Activities will be different each week so students can participate in one or both weeks.
  • Classes will meet outside when possible.

Refund Policy - Refunds will be issued only if cancellation notice is provided at least two (2) full weeks prior to session start date, or in the case of a documented medical condition. There is a non-refundable $50 registration fee for all programs.

Conduct Policy - Whitinsville Christian School is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all summer programs. To ensure safety and comfort for all, we expect participants to behave in a respectful manner. If a child remains disruptive, WCS reserves the right to dismiss the child from the program, and no refunds will be given.
