Teacher-High School Math & Science
I was born and raised in New Jersey, the middle of five children. Even as a young child, God was calling me to Him. When I was a senior in high school, God placed several new Christian friends in my life. Through them, God brought Christ into my heart and my life. As a new Christian, I boarded a plane to Boulder,Colorado, to attend the University of Colorado. My faith flourished through my involvement with Intervarsity as I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering. After marrying my husband, we moved to Massachusetts and I began work as a civil engineer. But God had other plans for my life. I am now in my 15th year of teaching at WCHS. I have the perfect position, combining my love of high school students, mathematics, science, technology and architecture at a school where I can infuse all I do with my faith. I find great joy in learning, seeking to expand my understanding of this world in which we live. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 32 years. I have four sons and one daughter. My sons graduated from WCS and my daughter is now a junior. As a family, we are celebrating the marriage of one of my sons and a new daughter to our family. Reading, gardening, quilting, knitting, hiking and watching sunsets are some of my favorite things to do outside of school.
