The Cornerstone Society recognizes the generosity of individuals who have made a planned gift to Whitinsville Christian School, such as including WCS in their will, and other planned giving opportunities like annuities and trusts. The Society is named to signify the laying of a firm foundation in God’s Kingdom for WCS students through a Cornerstone gift.
PLANNED GIVING
When you make a planned gift to WCS you have the satisfaction of knowing that you are ensuring the future health of the school and its students. A planned gift gives a donor the chance to support the school with a larger gift than her or she would otherwise be able to make in his or her lifetime. Planned gifts can also allow a donor to reduce their income tax, inheritance tax, and avoid capital gains tax. There are planned giving options for every donor.
ESTATE PLANNING
Many individuals are not aware of their ability to give a planned gift, often because they have not had time for, or access to, estate planning. WCS is a member of Barnabas Foundation, an organization that provides guidance and assistance to Christians to help them grow in understanding of biblical stewardship. Our partnership with Barnabas makes the services of their attorneys and accountants available to you, at no cost, in the areas of estate planning and designing charitable gifts in the most tax-efficient manner.
