Whitinsville Christian School provides students of all ages tremendous opportunities to develop their God-given creative gifts through drama, choir, band, orchestra, and various ensembles. We believe that music and art are gifts from a creative God. In all aspects of the performing arts, students are encouraged to use their gifts and talents to bring glory to God as they develop their skills and strive for excellence in their craft.

The band program at Whitinsville Christian School pursues excellence at all times and starts in 6th grade where students wishing to play a concert band instrument may join Beginning Band. From there, they may join the Middle School Band, and High School Band.
WCS Bands learn and master music quickly, and are well-versed in many types of instrumental arrangements. They perform classical works, big-band jazz, famous film scores, and everything else in between. The bands perform two major concerts during the course of the year: the Christmas Concert and the Band Finale.
In 2011, the HS Band was recognized by Bethesda Game Studios for its original arrangement and performance of the main theme from the video game “Skyrim.”
The High School Drama Club performs two productions each year. Drama Club truly represents the body of Christ as we all use our different gifts, on stage, back stage, with costumes, tech, sets, and lights. We believe we have an audience of One, and He is the reason we do what we do. Past productions include: Fiddler on the Roof, Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Ella Enchanted, The Sound of Music, and Grease.

The mission of WCS Strings, which began in 1981, is to glorify God through music by working together to develop Christian character and gifts to joyfully serve others. WCS Strings students learn violin, viola, and cello using the Suzuki Method of instruction, which relies heavily on parent participation. Beginning as young as 3 years old, students receive one private lesson and one group class per week along with other opportunities throughout the year.
Throughout the year, students enjoy a number of performance opportunities including: Pops concert, Christmas concert, Suzuki concert, Community outreach concerts, Fine Arts Night, Solo recitals, String quartet gigs, and Strings Tours. In every phase of the child’s participation, from Pre-Twinkle though chamber orchestra, praising and serving God is the focus.
